Paparoa Primary School

"Success through effort - Na to mahi kaha ka whiwhi ai"

Mission Statement

Paparoa Primary School will be a vibrant learning environment, which is culturally responsive to families and the community. We will be passionate about education and assist all students to feel nurtured and challenged to achieve their full potential.

About our School
Our school is situated in a small rural village setting and has a long history dating back to 1870. Many descendants of these original families still live in the district and our school continues to be centre of our community.

Our year 1-6 students come from a mix of cultural and social backgrounds and they thrive in our friendly atmosphere. The school is well resourced with four well maintained classrooms, a swimming pool, library, classroom computers, resource room, sun protected playground, sand pit, astrograss and a large playing field.
