REGISTER FOR 2025!

New Zealand Rugby have changed the way players register in 2025. From now on, current and new players must create  profile within Rugby Xplorer.

For our junior players, it's important their parent or guardian creates an account for themselves, and then registers their child. All coaches, managers and players will use Rugby Xplorer to register.

Grading

Grades are sorted by school year. For example, if your child is in Year 4 then you’ll select the Y4 grade when registering.

The table below outlines when game day is for each grade and type of rugby

WEIGHT LIMITS

We weigh all tackle players at our designated weigh-in day as a part of the Wellington Rugby Football Union (WRFU) official weigh-in process.

WRFU provide a weights and grading chart here if you’re after the detail, but rest assured we’ll work with you to ensure your children are playing rugby with others of similar age, weight and ability in the safest environment possible.​​​​​​​

JUNIOR RUGBY FEES

$30 - for each nursery player

$65 - for Rippa or Tackle - 1st child

$65 - for Rippa or Tackle - 2nd child

$0 - for Rippa or Tackle - 3rd or 4th child.

For admin reasons, fees need to be paid online at the time of registration via credit/debit card. Should that not be possible, our Treasurer can discuss a payment plan if required (on a case-by-case basis).
