Cost to join Parihaka Waka Ama

Fees include:

- Membership to Parihaka Waka Ama Inc;

- Waka Ama New Zealand (WANZ) affiliation fee; and

- Parihaka Sports Club Inc affiliation fee.

Membership is payable annually in October:

$150 adults - $134 Parihaka Waka Ama  + $1 Parihaka Sports Club + $15 WANZ fee

($135.00 if already WANZ Affiliated)

$32 junior (12-19 years) - $19 Parihaka Waka Ama  + $1 Parihaka Sports Club + $12 WANZ fee

$25 intermediate/midget (7-11 years) - $19 Parihaka Waka Ama + $1 Parihaka Sports Club + $5 WANZ fee

The membership fee entitles you to:

• Use of club equipment and paddles
• Training sessions 
• Opportunities to race

You also get the opportunity to meet, mix and mingle with a great bunch of people.

The fees help us to pay for:

• Club, equipment insurance
• Purchase of new equipment
• Maintenance of existing waka and trailer
• Club paddles
• Recruitment of new members
• Running and promoting events
