SENIOR WINTER BASKETBALL 2024

Each year we select teams to play in the Canterbury Basketball Association (CBA) Winter Club Competition.

These teams are open to males and females aged U13 and above! 

Each team consists of up to 10 players, one coach (volunteer) and one manager (volunteer). The teams play in the CBA winter competition on Saturdays and Sundays across various gyms in Christchurch (excluding Womens and Mens Midweek, who play on Wedesday nights).

Games are full, 40 minute stop clock. Each team will also be offered one training a week at a gym within our region. This year, trainings will be combined into age groups and shortened for the younger teams to reduce costs, allow coach support and collaboration. e.g. all U13 boys teams will train at the same time and venue. 

We will provide uniforms for all teams, players in 20U grades and below are required to wear mouthguards. 

We will provide a player 'information pack' closer to the season starting with expectations, CBA policies and further information.

Senior Club Trials

To trial for senior club teams in 2024, you must be registered BEFORE attending the trial.
