WELCOME TO PŌKENO SOFTBALL CLUB

We are proudly the first Sports club catering to the Pōkeno community.

While we are yet to establish a permanent home ground, our club is made up of passionate people with a goal of creating a long-lasting Softball community within the Pōkeno area. 

Pōkeno Softball Club is part of Franklin Softball Association. FSA was established in September 2021 as a result of a surge in population to the local area, highlighting a need for an additional association to provide softball support to the community. We are now taking registrations for players of all ages and abilities - all registrants will be placed in a team!

When and Where 

Tiny Sox Skills & Development Session - (3-4 years) Thursday nights at 5.30pm at our home grounds. 1/2 hour skills session with our club president.  Learn how to hit and throw a ball and ultimately just have some fun while developing the love of the game.  Parents must stay with children onsite and are encouraged to participate.

U8 Teeball - (5-8 years) Thursday nights at 5.30pm at our home grounds.  1/2 hour training session then teams split off for round robin game of 45mins.

*Both Teeball and Tiny Sox will be played at Tuakau Recreation Reserve (home grounds next to the pony club)*

Junior Softball is played on Saturday mornings, with Senior games commencing from midday. 

U11 through to U13 grades and all Senior games will be played at Colin Lawrie Fields (Pukekohe Softball) or Rugby Park (Waiuku Softball). 

U15 & U17 will be played at various fields around South Auckland.

Training fields are located at Tuakau Recreation Reserve - on Alexandra Redoubt Road, Tuakau (next to the Tuakau Pony Club)
