Good Evening All

Just a quick update on the Winter Singles Championship and other activities at the Club. We got lucky again with the weather and was able to play 16 games. We had 11 players registered for the day's play, including 5 new players.  (a big welcome to Cilla, Robyn, Ngaire, Brian & Gary. Hope you enjoyed the day, and look forward to seeing in a fortnights time).

The stand out player of the day was Martin, who came through the day unbeaten. Well done Martin, but can you do that again in a fortnights time. 

After the first 3 rounds of play the current overall leader is Bernie, closely followed by Barry & Martin. As usual a great day was had by all. Hope to see you all on 19th August for the last round.  (10:45am registration - 1st Game commences 11:00am) Hope to see you there.

Members Draw

Don't forget the Members Draw on Friday Night @ 5:30pm. The draw wasn't won again last week, so it has now jackpotted to $60.00 Hope to see you on Friday night for the members draw and a chat.

Subscriptions are now due

2018/19 subscriptions are now due. Many thanks to the members that have already paid. An Invoice will be sent out in the next day or so, you can either pay at the bar next time you are at the club, or via Internet Banking with either your name as reference or the Invoice number. If you do not wish to renew you membership, we would appreciate an email (admin@ponsonbybowls.nz) confirming that you wish to terminate / not renew your membership.

Table Tennis Table / Pool Competetion

The Ponsonby Bowling Club Pool Competetion will recommence in mid August. Competition rules will be published on the Club Noticeboard shortly. Free feel to pop in and get a little practice in before the competitionstarts. We will be alos starting a table teniis

Winter Hours

Just a reminder the Club will be open Thursday thru - Sunday from 11:00am to 6:00pm. As usual we will stay open past 6:00pm if there are any club members are in the club rooms. Barbara would love your company, so please pop in have and have a chat, bowl, game of pool etc... 

Trophies.

A big thanks to Katy, who has polished up our Trophies, which are now shinny and proudly on display. 

Help Wanted!!!!

We are looking for people to help open / run the club. If you have some free time on a regular basis, then we would love to hear from you. Pop into the club and have a chat with Barb.

Fish & Chips Fridays.

Don't forget our special of fish & chips special on Friday evenings. Fish & Chips plus either a beer or a wine for $15.00 ($12.00 for club members). Pop in, have some fish and chips, and you might even win the members draw.
