Trials

All trials are held at Rangitoto College on the Netball courts

Senior (Y10-Y13)

Monday 15th March 1.40pm - 4.00pm

Wednesday 17th March 6.30am - 8.40am

Year 9

Monday 22nd March 1.40pm - 3.20pm

Wednesday 24th March 1.40pm - 3.20pm

Season Dates

The Netball season spans all of Term 2 and the first half of Term 3.

Open College - Tuesday 4th May - Saturday 28th August

Year 9 - Monday 3rd May - Monday 23rd August

Game Days

Premier Team play Saturdays from 8am.

Year 9’s play Monday from 4.30pm to 7pm.

All other year levels play Saturday from 8am.

Training

Trainings are for the most part based on the availability of the coach. Trainings can be in the morning, after school, or in the evening.

. All Rangitoto Court bookings must be done through Nataleigh Moe in the Sports Department ([email protected]).

Teams train at Rangitoto College. Teams who play outside, train outside. Teams who play inside, train inside. There is no exception to this.

Venues

The majority of games are at the Barfoot & Thompson Netball North Harbour Venue.

Transport Information

It is each families responsibility to get their students to and from all trainings and games.

Coaches

We are always on the look out for coaches to develop and help support our students as they progress through Rangitoto College Netball.

Volunteers

If you would like to Volunteer as a Coach, Manager or Umpire on Monday nights for Year 9 and Saturdays for Seniors please contact the TIC or Netball Co-ordinator. We are always looking for more Volunteers. All of our coaches/ student coaches and Managers are volunteers and we rely on their support for Netball at Rangitoto to run smoothly.

2021 Fees

Premier $335.00

Year 9 - Open College $215.00

Due date for payment is Friday 23rd April

All player fees include: Umpire fees, Equipment fees, Administration costs, NNH Administration fees, Netball NZ fees, NNH Competition Fees.

** Fees do not cover additional tournaments

Self-organized Teams

Students have the option of creating their own team.

These self organized teams do not need to attend the first trial but will need to attend a call back to be placed in the correct grade. Your whole team still needs to register with the 2021 online registration form and Captains need to bring the team list the netball co-ordinator. You need to organize a training time with the Sports department and also collect your balls and bibs from the Netball co-ordinator once trials are done.

Payment of all members is to be made or payment plan organized with the finance office before the team is entered.

A deposit of $50 is required by all members and non-refundable should you withdraw.

Premier Dresses (Provided).
All other grades Rangitoto Netball Dress which must be purchased from the SAS North Harbour Store.

Second Hand Uniforms

The PTA runs a Second Hand Uniform shop at the College that is open every Friday lunch time 1.30pm - 2.15pm and the first Saturday of every month (2.30pm - 3.30pm), except school holidays. For further information please see the school website.
