INTRODUCTION TO OUR BOWLING CLUB

The Riccarton Racecourse Bowling Club is a small and often described as a boutique Bowling Club which focuses on playing and enjoying your bowls and also a community that socialises together.

It has an excellent natural green and an all weather artificial surface. In 2022 our greenkeeper was awarded Greenkeeper of the Year, of which the Club is very proud of and reinforces the quality of our greens. The Club runs two bowling seasons: summer from September-April and winter season April-September. The Club offers both Interclub, Championships, Club Tournaments and social bowls to all members.The Programme is also available as a handbook and online.

SUMMER Bowlers 2023-24 season

Welcome to the Riccarton Racecourse Bowling Club website section and it extends to all members and friends of the Club a big welcome to the summer season.

In particular a warm welcome to our many new members. We trust you will enjoy good times on the green and great hospitality in the Clubrooms.

CoC's Draw and Venue:

Pairs, Sunday 14 April:
Helen Bevin and Amanda Carides v Canterbury 2017, Fendalton Club, 9.00am Rink 3

Paul and Braeden Casware v Rangiora, Halswell Club, 8.30am Rink 5

CLOSING DAYS:

Thursday Club Day, 18th: Playing for the CLOUSTON CUP. Names in by 9.45am and after play presentation of the trophy together with cuppa and scones (thanks Cheryl Gianelly)

Saturday Club Captain's Trophy, 20th: Names on sheet in clubrooms by 4.30pm this Thursday. Draw emailed out Friday. Play starting at 1.00pm followed by our End-of-Season Official Prizegiving, then bbq.
All members invited to play or join us for prizegiving and bbq at approximately 4.00pm
