Every year we have the opportunity for our children to attend the Primary Schools Rippa and Tackle Rugby Tournament. This tournament runs over three dates during Terms 2 and 3.

The dates for the tournament in 2020 are:

Thursday 21 May (Save Day Tuesday 26 May)

Thursday 18 June (Save Day Tues 23 June)

Thursday 13 August (Save Day Tues 18 August).

The competition is held at the Takapuna Rugby Club, Onewa Domain, Northcote Road, Northcote (NOTE: VENUE CHANGE FROM PREVIOUS YEARS)

Participants will travel to and from the venue by bus, but we will be looking for parents to assist with supervising/managing the teams on competition days.

Please register your child online by Thursday 26 March, 2020.

Teams play in school colours, PE shirt and navy shorts will be required.

Mouthguards are compulsory for all tackle players, however the organisers receommend that rippa players also wear a mouthguard. All players must play in bare feet.

Every participant is required to complete a NZRU registration form, you will be sent the link to this form once you have registered your child to play in the tournaments.
