Cricket at Rongotai College

Rongotai College has a growing cricket programme that offers cricket for all ages, abilities and commitment levels. Those interested in a less competitive 'social' dynamic are advised to play T20. Our Premier Cricket team, the 1st XI, competes in numerous traditional fixtures against regional rivals. Opponents include Nelson College and Wairarapa College. The 1st XI also play the occasional 'one-off' fixtures against touring Australian teams.

Weekly Competitions

Term 1 CSW Premier Youth Grade (1st XI): Saturdays, starting from January 31.

Term 1 All other CSW Grades: Saturdays, starting from February 7. 

Term 4 Cricket: Saturdays, starting from October 31. 

Please consider that, in some instances, travel to the Kapiti Coast or Wairarapa is required for matches.

PlayHQ​​​​​​​

PlayHQ is a centralised platform for managing player registrations, fixture organisation, live scoring, and statistic tracking. All College Sport Wellington competitions use PlayHQ. Please also register on PlayHQ. A link is at the bottom of this page. 

Cost

Weekly Cricket Competitions incur a 'playing fee' cost of $110 to cover expenses. Participation in Regional and National Championships will incur added costs. To set up a payment plan, contact the school office immediately.
