Futsal at Rongotai College

Futsal has quickly become Rongotai College's most popular summer sporting code. Generally, it is considered a 'social' sport amongst the student body. However, Rongotai still offers prospective players the opportunity to play competitively. Those selected for the 'premier teams'  will participate in Regional and National Tournaments (which are held locally, at Akau Tangi). ​​​​​​​

Weekly Competitions 

Term 1

CSW Seniors: Mondays, starting from February 16. 

CSW Juniors: Fridays, starting from February 13. 

Term 4

CSW Seniors: Mondays, starting from October 19

CSW Juniors: Fridays, starting from October 23

Matches are played at Akau Tangi Sports Centre, Kilbirnie. Registered students are expected to play both terms unless an alternative arrangement is made with the Director of Sport.

NZSS Senior Futsal Championships: Wednesday, 25 - Friday, 27 March 

NZSS Junior Futsal Cup: Wednesday, 25 - Friday, 27 March

ALL TOURNAMENTS WILL BE PLAYED AT AKAU TANGI SPORTS CENTRE, KILBIRNIE, WELLINGTON

Cost 

Participation in Futsal incurs a 'playing fee' cost of $110 to cover expenses. Additional fees will be charged to students who participate in Regional and National Championships.
