Rongotai College Ki O Rahi

Ki O Rahi is a traditional Māori game that incorporates elements commonly associated with rugby, tag, and handball. Played in a circular field, teams compete to score points by touching a central tupu or by running the ball into specific areas. 

Key Events / Competitions

College Sport Wellington hosts two annual tournaments. Ki O Rahi is also incorporated into Rongotai's Physical Education curriculum.

  • CSW Junior Tournament: Wednesday, November 18. 

Cost
Ki O Rahi is a subsidised sport at Rongotai College, and participation does not incur "playing fees".
