Volleyball is a popular summer sporting code at Rongotai. Teams compete in weekly league competitions in Terms 1 and 4. Players selected to Rongotai's premier Volleyball teams (Junior & Senior A) have the opportunity to represent the school at regional and national tournaments. 

Weekly Competitions

Term 1 

CSW Wellington Zone Seniors: Fridays, starting from February 13.

CSW Wellington Zone Juniors: Wednesdays, starting from February 11. 

Term 4

CSW Wellington Zone Seniors: Fridays, starting October 23.

CSW Wellington Zone Juniors: Wednesdays, starting October 21.

All players will be provided with a uniform.

CSW Senior Volleyball Tournament: Friday 6 - Saturday 7 March @ Akau Tangi Sports Centre

CSW Junior Volleyball Tournament: Friday 6 - Saturday 7 November @ Akau Tangi Sports Centre

NZSS Volleyball Tournament: Monday 23 - Friday 27 March @ Palmerston North

Cost

Participation in weekly Volleyball competitions incurs a 'playing fee' cost of $60 to cover expenses. Students who participate in Regional and National Championships will be charged additionally. To set up a payment plan, contact the school office immediately.
