Mt Roskill RFC is affiliated to Suburbs Rugby Football Club, with which it merged in November 2016.

The club started as Mount Roskill Rugby Football Club in 1945, changed to Roskill Districts RFC after a merger with the Hillsborough RFC. And now, upon its merger with Suburbs RFC, will now on be known once again as the Mount Roskill Rugby Football Club.
