Haere mai! Welcome to Sacred Heart College whare pukapuka

An open space where you can gain new knowledge and skills, a space for quiet reading, study, collaboration and lively discussion.

Find a range of resources that can help you with your learning at school and from home.

There are a host of Aotearoa New Zealand Resources, a complete guide to our peoples, environment, history, culture and society that can be found on the shelves and through online resources i.e. EPIC, Index New Zealand (INNZ), Te Ara Encyclopedia of New Zealand, NZ History, Papers Past, Digital NZ, and Digital Pasifik.

Explore the world’s knowledge, cultures, and ideas through a variety of pukupukas, library databases and research resources; access collaborations between academics and journalists publishing research based news and analysis.

Central to academic writing is learning to acknowledge other people’s work through in-text citing and referencing which will help differentiate between their ideas and your own.

A bibliography guide on getting started can be found on the library blog as can interactive examples.
