LONG DUATHLON
37km Cycle - 14km Run
Starting in the Rakaia Domain, turning right and road cycling approx 37km around a set course on the Rakaia Barrhill Road, then returning back to the Domain gates. Transitioning to the 14.6km run and running along Normanby Road, turning into the riverbed, and heading west, with a short scramble up the riverbank to a wide vehicle farm track, then running east through the riverbed to the Rakaia Walkway, and back out on to Normanby Road to finish in the Domain. *Courses are subject to change

Eligibility (for both long & short events)
The minimum age of competitors in the Long Duathlon is 14 years of age at 14 October 2023
Competitors aged 18 years or less, must have parents’ consent to participate in The Salmon Run event.

Students must be between the ages of 14-18 as at the 14 October 2023.
