COACH & MANAGER CODE OF BEHAVIOUR
- Be reasonable in your demands on young players’ time, energy and enthusiasm.
- Teach your players that the rules of the game are mutual agreements that no-one should disregard.
- Where possible, avoid over-playing talented players and disregarding other team players.
- Don’t ridicule or yell at the players for making mistakes or losing a game or competition.
- Follow the advice of a physician in determining when an injured player is ready to recommence play.
- Make a personal commitment to keep yourself informed of sound coaching principles and the principles of growth and development of the players.
- Coaches are to make themselves available to assist during team selections as determined by the selection committee.
- All coaches are required to attend coaching clinics organised by the Sancta Maria College Netball Club Coaching Co-coordinator.
- Coaches are required to be available for all training sessions and, where required by the committee, to attend Club Committee Meetings.
