2019-20 South Island teams event is GC and sceduled for the 21st and 22nd March to be played at Ashburton at the Waireka club. Entries due      March, to Raylene Phillips Manager.

2018-19 South Island teams event is AC and  scheduled for 6th & 7th April to be played at Allenton. Entries due March 29th to Raylene Phillips.

South Canterbury team is Graeme Simpson Aorangi, Kevin McGlinchy Aorangi, Dulcie Pierre Waireka and Derek Atkinson Awamoa/Gardens.

Winners South Canterbury 9/10 wins, runners up Nelson and Canterbury 4 wins, Otago 3 wins.

2017-18 Teams event was GC, played at Allenton no report received.

The 2016/17 South Island teams event was held at Waireka club in Ashburton on 8th and 9th April, with Raylene Phillips the manager.

Four teams from Nelson, Canterbury, Otago and the hosts South Canterbury gathered to play the bi-annual event in Association play. Ground conditions were fairly damp following considerable rainfall. Saturday was overcast and Sunday was a truly stunning day- the sun shone, the sky was blue, Mt Hutt in the distance had a good covering of snow.

The South Canterbury team was Jenny Macnab Awamoa/Gardens, Lois Alexander Allenton, Bob Wickenden Awamoa/Gardens and Dulcie Pierre of Waireka. All games were fairly even  there being only 6 peg outs on the Saturday and only one on the Sunday, Players were well catered for  - the kitchen volunteers had excelled yet again. The event was won by Canterbury with 17 wins from Nelson with 15 wins South Canterbury had 9 wins and Otago 7 wins.

The top players (results) in each grade were A grade M Rodgers Canterbury 4/6 wins & L Barker Nelson 4/6 wins. Intermediate O Farrell Canterbury 6/6 wins, B Grade K Hume Nelson 5/6 wins and C grade D Pierre South Canterbury 5/6 wins.

2015-16 South Island Teams event Golf Croquet will be in Ashburton at Waireka club on 16th and 17th April 2016.
The South Canterbury Green Team is Brent Cleveland Geraldine, Jason Hodgett Aorangi, Chris Spittal Waireka, Eva Kircher Waireka.
The South Canterbury Gold team (as a replacement for the Marlborough team who at the last minute were unable to attend) were
Kevin McGlinchy Aorangi, Cheryl Hopely Awamoa/Gardens, Kaleb Smith Waireka and Paulins Scott Waireka.
The winners of the first South Island Golf Croquet Teams event were Nelson Team with 22 wins and the runners up were the Canterbury team.

The South Canterbury Team to play in the event is: Ethel Johnston Awamoa/Gardens, Lois Alexander Allenton, Graeme Simpson Aorangi, and Carolyn Fordyce Waireka club.
The event winner was the Canterbury Red Team with South Canterbury as runners up.

Please note that Golf Croquet is the code to be played. It is intended that the two codes will alternate each year ie next year the code played will be Association play.
This event did not get sufficient entries to run the event and so was cancelled.
