The Serious Fishing Club

The Serious Fishing Club (SFC) began in 1993 and since then have held regular fishing trips, mostly about the French Pass / D'Urville Island area but also out of Kaikoura and to the Chatham Islands.

The club have used a number of charter operators for the fishing, and have stayed overnight at a variety of places in the Marlborough Sounds at Kaikoura and the Hotel Chathams

The club is principally for members of the Rotary Club of Nelson but also has included past club members, friends and relatives.
