INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PLAY 2025

JUNE 11 2025 - One of the easiest, cheapest and best ways to keep our tamariki physically active is through play. Celebrate International Day of Play by getting out the chalk and bubbles - fun for all ages. You can chalk bomb the footpath outside your organisation with a hopscotch, a four square, a play trail or an artwork. Get the staff involved or leave the chalk out for the kids to get creative. Bubble wands always ignite that playful spirit, so have them available for customers or passersby too.  

Sport Hawke's Bay has 20 Bubble and chalk packs to give away to the first 20 organisations who sign up to be an active Play Champion. You can sign up to be a Play Champion here:
