Brought to you by the Green Prescription team, our eight-week 'Be Active' programme is designed for people wanting to increase their level of activity and have fun along the way.
The Term 2 Be Active Programmes are scheduled to begin in May, and we will continue with our new and improved Be Active Online Programme which offers clients the same benefits of a regular Be Active from the comfort of their own home.

Online Be Active - How Does It Work?
Sport Canterbury’s Green Prescription team is looking forward to bringing you another eight-week Be Active programme on-line – in your living room! The programme is offered on-line so that you can still experience all the benefits of a ‘Be Active’ from home.
Every week resources and links will be released via the Sport Canterbury website for you to engage with and enjoy.
Participants can enjoy the opportunity to:
• Try out a range of activities, e.g. low impact exercises, circuits, dance, yoga and tai chi
• Discuss topics that support a healthy lifestyle, e.g. motivation, types of exercise, healthy eating, managing stress
• Enjoy the support of the other participants and Sport Canterbury's Green Prescription staff
All activities are suited to people new or returning to activity, with a focus on enjoying being active and 'having a go.'
