2025 ILT Southland Sports Awards

The aim of the ILT Southland Sports Awards is to inspire the Southland sporting community, recognise and honour outstanding achievements and performances, recognise and honour our top coaches, recognise and honour the services of our top officials and administrators, and promote positive sporting role models for Southlanders.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​


Changes for 2025 include:

  • New venue. We are returning to one of the homes of Southland sport, ILT Stadium Southland.

  • No finalists. Each sport will be asked to nominate their top nominees for each category and all nominees will be celebrated as part of the event.

  • A shorter, more inclusive format. The Awards will be less expensive, include drinks and canapes rather than a sit down meal, and run for less than three hours.
