National Graded Championships (prev Champion of Champions - COC)

The Champion of Champions is a popular national event that ran for the first time in 2012. The format is similar to that of the SuperChamps, but played on an individual basis.

2025 National Graded Championships

The 2025 NZ Championships & National Graded Championships will be hosted by North Shore, Auckland on 4-6th July, 2025.

Reinstatement of District Graded Champs & Updated Qualification Process (2025 Onwards)

Squash Auckland has reinstated the District Graded Championships as part of the qualification pathway for the NZ Championships & National Graded Championships.

Historically, Squash Auckland held a district-level Graded Champs tournament (open entry), with the winners of each grade earning the right to represent Auckland at the National Champion of Champions (now Graded Championships) event. However, due to declining entry numbers in some grades in recent years, this event was temporarily removed from the calendar and replaced with a selection panel.

With renewed interest and enthusiasm, the District Graded Championships has now been reinstated. From 2025 onwards, the winners of each grade at the reinstated tournament will once again earn the opportunity to represent Auckland at the National Graded Champships (formerly known as Champion of Champions).
