Southland Under 15 Girls
In May 2018 Softball NZ made changes to the national age-grade tournaments and U15 Boys and Girls will now be held as one national tournament, not separate North Island and South Island fixtures.
Due to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, the U15 Boys national championships for 2021 in Christchurch has been cancelled. There is no U15 Boys represetative team for 2020-2021. There is no Mainland Shield competition in 2020 or 2021.
In place for 2021-2022 is a U15 Girls South Island Open regional tournament for club based teams:
Thursday 13 January to Sunday 16 January 2022 Argyle Park, Ashburton
In place for 2021 is a regional tournament for club based teams:
Thursday 21 to Sunday 24 January 2021 Mizuno Ballpark, Christchurch
