Southland Under 18 Boys

In May 2018 Softball NZ changed the national age-grade tournament of Under 19 to Under 18, in line with the change made at the WBSC (World Baseball Softball Confederation) meeting in Paris in April 2018.

Due to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, the U18 Boys national championship for 2021 in Paraparaumu has been cancelled.  There is no U18 Boys representative team for 2020-2021.

In place for 2021-2022 is a U19 Boys South Island Open regional tournament for club based teams:
Thursday 20 January to Sunday 23 January 2022           Mizuno Ballpark, Christchurch


In place for 2021 is a regional tournament for club based teams:
Thursday 28 to Sunday 31 January 2021                    Ellis Park, Dunedin
