Play Cricket

At St Thomas, our vision for cricket is to build a positive, inclusive and aspirational programme for students in Years 9–13 that develops both the player and the person. We aim to provide opportunities for boys of all abilities to enjoy cricket, improve their skills, and represent the school with pride.

Our programme will create a clear pathway from Year 9 through to senior cricket, where players are supported to develop their technical skills, game understanding, fitness, and love for the sport. Whether students are new to cricket or striving to perform at the highest level, every player will be valued and given opportunities to learn, compete and contribute.

St Thomas Cricket will be built on our school values. We will encourage commitment and hard work in training and matches, respect for teammates, coaches, opponents and officials, and pride in representing our school community. Players will be challenged to show integrity, resilience and teamwork both on and off the field.

Through quality coaching, strong team culture, and a focus on personal growth, St Thomas Cricket will develop confident young men who play the game in the right spirit and support each other to achieve their best.
