Cross Country – Term 3

Available to:  Year 3, 4, 5 & 6

We will be holding trials for interested students on Tuesday 4 August 2020, with a savaday of Tuesday 11 August 2020 (dates still TBC by Auckland Council), 11.00am to 2.00pm at Harvey Wright Fields, Northcote Rugby Club, Birkenhead Avenue.

Students will be transported to and from the fields by bus.

Year 3 & 4 children run approx. 1.4km around a course and Year 5 & 6 run 2.1km.

Please note there is no charge for the trials

Students who are successful in being selected for the school cross country team will represent St Mary's at the following events:

1. Catholic Schools Cross Country: Tuesday 15 September, the fastest 5 runners from year 3 to 6 will represent St Mary's School.

2. Zone Interschool Cross Country: Friday 4 September, savaday Friday 18 September, the fastest 6 runners from year 4 to 6 will represent St Mary's School.

At this event we compete against Sunnybrae, Willow Park, Northcote and Onepoto primary schools.

Athletics – Term 4 

​​​​​​​Available to:  All year levels. Year groups are spilt into junior and senior school. The top children across all events are selected to attend the inter-school athletics where we compete against Sunnybrae, Willow Park School, Northcote and Onepoto primary schools.
