2021 registrations for Winter Netball are now open.

Netball for Year 1-3 is on a Monday afternoon at Netball North Harbour on Northcote Road.

Year 4: Monday afternoons at Netball North Harbour or Saturdays at Westlake Girls High School.

Year 5 & 6: Wednesday afternoons at Netball North Harbour or Saturdays at Westlake Girls High School.

Team Selection:

We select teams on children with similar ability. If you have a specific requirement with the placement of your child in a team, please ensure you let us know when registering your child. Requests for team placements will be taken into consideration when making up teams, if at all possible. Teams are selected by the Student Activities Coordinator in consultation with an outside selector, once teams have been finalised and communicated, these are unable to be changed. Uniforms are compulsory. Children must wear the St Mary's School PE shirt and skort or shorts and provide their own shoes and socks.

Years 1/2/3 - Mother Earth Future Ferns at Netball North Harbour - MONDAY AFTERNOONS

Mondays between 4pm-7pm for 10 weeks.

Years 1/2 will play mini games with a lot of parent/coach interaction.

Game Times: Year 1, 2 Monday nights, round times are 4.00 pm, 4.40 and 5.20 pm. Programme runs for 10 weeks.

Year 3 will play for 12 weeks.

Year 3 Monday nights round times are 4.00 pm, 5.00 pm and 6.00 pm and are 40 minute games.

2020 Season: Monday 10 May – 2 August (Year 1/2) or 16 August (Year 3)

Cost: $TBC, in 2020 was $80 per player

Uniform is navy sports skort and St Mary's PE shirt

Coaches, managers and umpires: Coaching Course for coaches for Year 1/2/3 Monday 3 May at 6.30pm.

Parent involvement is imperative for these games – no parents means no team.

Year 4 - Netball North Harbour - MONDAY AFTERNOONS

Mondays between 4pm-7pm approx for 14 weeks.

2020 Season:

7 Grading games - Monday 3 May - Monday 21 June.

5 competition games - Monday 28 June – Monday 23 August.

Monday nights round times are 4.00 pm and 4.50pm, games are 40 minutes in duration.

Approx Cost: $90 TBC (includes umpiring fee).

We will need coaches and managers for these teams please.

Information evenings for coaches/managers on Monday 12 April or Wednesday 14 April, 6.30pm at NNH.

Prizegiving: Monday 20 September, 4.00pm at NNH.

Year 5 & 6 - Netball North Harbour - WEDNESDAY AFTERNOONS

Wednesdays between 4pm-7pm approx for 14 weeks.

2020 Season: 7 Grading games - Wednesday 5 May - 16 June.

7 competition games - Wednesday 30 June - 25 August

Year 5 & 6 Wednesday nights round times are 4.00 pm, 4.50 pm, 5.40 pm and 6.30 pm. The Year 6’s are likely to play the later game times. Teams play a 40 minute game.

Approx Cost: $90 TBC (includes umpiring fee).

Primary Information evenings for coaches/managers on Monday 12 April or Wednesday 14 April, 6.30pm at NNH.

Prizegiving:

Year 5: Monday 20 September, 4.00pm at NNH.

Year 6: Monday 20 September, 5.30pm at NNH.

Registrations close Friday 12 February, 2021.

Year 4/5/6 - Junior Netties competition at Westlake Girls - SATURDAY MORNINGS

Saturdays between 9am-1pm approx for 12 weeks.

2020 Season: 7 grading games - Saturday 8 May - 26 June (excluding 5 June – Queen’s Birthday weekend.

5 competition games - 3 July - 21 August.

Game Times: Year 4 will have the earlier round times of 8.30 am, 9.20 am, and possibly 10.10 am game times. Year 5 will follow them and then the Year 6’s at a later time. Junior Netties teams play 40 minute games.

Cost: $TBC, in 2019 was $80 (includes umpiring fee)
