The TGS junior girls (photo) played against a strong Whangaparaoa side this week. The girls got stuck in and focused on defence, with some great steals.

They worked hard and slowed the game down, they played smart and it was a good challenge - nice to play in a bigger pool, against a quality team who displayed great sportsmanship. Shout out to the goalies.

Meanwhile the Development team won 8-6 against Birkdale. The competition overall is getting tougher as skills develop in both teams. However, TGS are working really well as a team and managing to still dominate the pool. Well done everyone!
