TGS 12 - Massey Gold 40 - Loss

Massey Gold have set the standard in the Girls Youth 15 grade throughout the season, so TGS were expecting another tough game having gone down 53-5 in their previous encounter.

Massey started fast, keeping TGS on the back foot with physicality in contact which led to three quick tries. As TGS adjusted to the game they were able to retain possession for longer periods, which resulted in Victoria Wright scoring her 15th try of the season and TGS heading into halftime down 19-5.

TGS continued to gain more possession and territory, putting Massey under pressure, but turnovers at crucial times gave Massey the chances they needed, resulting in three long-range tries. TGS did not give up, with Seni Kolo scoring the final try.

Congratulations to Zalia Tibbotts on her debut.
