TGS archer Junzhen (Jane) Zhu has continued her impressive 2026 season, claiming bronze in the Women’s Under 18 Individual Matchplay at the 2026 ANZ Indoor Nationals, where she represented her club, Shore Archery Club.

The first day of competition saw Jane complete the ranking rounds, shooting at both 18m and 25m. She finished the day ranked 3rd in the Women’s Under 18 category, putting herself in a strong position heading into the matchplay competition.

On day two, Jane shot her way through the individual matchplay rounds to earn a place in the bronze medal match. She held her nerve when it mattered most, defeating a competitive Auckland Archery Club member who has represented New Zealand and has been competing in archery for longer than Jane.

Jane showed great composure throughout the competition, keeping her head clear and producing some excellent shooting under pressure.

Another fantastic achievement for Jane, who continues to go from strength to strength in her archery. Congratulations, Jane!
