Some of our members are qualified First Aiders and no club event will take place without a qualified First Aider on site. Please make sure all riders follow a few simple rules.
Do not ride the wrong way around the track unless instructed by a coach.
Do not cross the track or stop behind a jump where riders will not see them.
Always, Always, Always wear a helmet when riding on the track
Full face helmet
Long sleeved top and long pants
Shoes, with socks that cover the ankles
Elbow pads (under 8yrs) *
Knee pads (under 8yrs) *
* Note: From July 1st 2020 all sprocket class riders MUST wear knee and elbow protection at all BMX events, within the categories 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 in the BMXNZ Event Matrix. Such protection must be of the type that is specifically designed, constructed and sold to protect knees and elbows in BMX, Motocross or Mountain Bike racing events. This rule excludes Strider licenced riders.
