After a very successful development program for Under 13’s and 15’s in 2022, we will be running it back for Term 3 2023. Hoping to continue building on last year and run an exciting program.
The program offers players the opportunity to develop their skills in an encouraging and supportive environment. Players of all abilities are welcome and will be catered for.
The program will consist of one training a week under quality coaching aiming to develop our kids on and off the field. Enjoyment is a key focus for this age group and Taranaki Hockey have created a program focusing on skill development and enjoyment.
U13 - to be eligible to play in the Lower North Island U13 Festival, the players must be under the age of 13 years old as of 1st January of the year in which the festival is played. They must be in Year 7 or 8 to qualify for this.
U15 - to be eligible to play in the Lower North Island U15 Tournament, the players must be under the age of 15 years old as of 1st January of the year in which the tournament is played. Those eligible for U15 Festival must play in their own age group.
