Taupo Junior Golf Sunday 2nd March – Results
Seven nervous juniors playing on Centennial in the Sunday competition had quite an exciting day. They have not played the back nine for some time. Armed with the cards to identify the tee markers in hand they had loads of fun and many new experiences. Harry Zhu had the most goes at getting then to rake and return the rake to the middle of the bunker just like Hamish showed them on Facebook! Great to see Leo and Ruie out with us again. The best gross score returned by a fast improving Ella Ding 48 gross score. In second place, smooth swinging Ruie Tatere 48 gross. Third Sam Van Diepen 58, 4th Leo Whelan and Thomas Van Diepen 60 gross, Harry Zhu 61 and Brodie Campbell returning a 71 gross. This round was the second time playing for Brodie at club Sunday competition. It is a pleasure to be involved with these juniors they are all so keen to improve their game and soak up information. Thank you to the five Parents who guided their children through the nine holes.
