For those who weren't at the club champs, you missed a great day. Ideal conditions for riding, a good turnout and some very competitive racing. And the view from the top of the Minden made the climb worthwhile.
There were worthy winners in all grades and it was good to see our junior riders taking away plenty of medals. Congratulations to Daniel Molyneux for taking out the title of Club Champ, for the second year running.
You can catch some pictures of the action at Duncan Tindalls website http://www.tri-photos.co.uk/TCCChamps/index.html Raewyne Cathie and Angela Finucane also took a whole pile of photos, we do have these on a CD and some may appear on the club website in due course.
Thanks also to the entire committee for organising the day - the work starts well beforehand, ordering medals and sorting out the venue, arranging spot prizes etc, plus what happens on the day. The good turnout and great weather made it all worthwhile.
A big thanks also to our sponsor for the day - Koops Cycles. Koops are a good supporter of the club, so please remember them when you are looking for anything to do with your bike.
Results: (Note - where the overall points were the same for two riders, the placing in the road race then determined who finished ahead)
