How to find us -

3.5km along McLaren Falls Road to Lower Mangapapa Road. Parking is 20m on right, over the cattle stop and through the gate.​​​​​

We are CLOSED for bookings for use of the Cross Country Course. 

By entering the grounds you are agreeing to the conditions below so please read them.

 2 working days notice is required to make a booking.



Please make booking through Tauranga Pony Club, providing name of all riders, number of horses, where you are from and if you are a member or non member of TPC.

All ground fees go back into the upkeep of the Cross Country Course and building of new jumps.

Ref - riders name and MF (McLaren Falls) as well as TPCM (TPC member) or NPCM (Non PC member)).

If booking in a group, please make one payment for all attending in that group. 



Conditions:

  • Bookings essential for use of jumps, if you do not end up going please send an email to let us know.
  • Riders wishing to rider over the grounds without jumping there is no booking required or ground fee.
  • Groups wishing to hold an event with no jumping of XC jumps must book with the Tauranga City Council and check with Tga PC if it is free - taurangaponyclub@gmail.com 
  • ESNZ approved Back protectors and ESNZ tagged helmets MUST be worn when jumping.
  • All riders MUST have a second person with them at all times when jumping.
  • All parking is to be in the parking paddock only.
  • Please DO NOT leave droppings in the parking paddock.
  • If ground conditions are wet, please limit ground damage around jumps.
  • All gates and jumps must be left how they were.
  • Some jumps may have obstructions attached. These are there for a reason, DO NOT JUMP.
  • The water jump must not be filled without permission.
  • No camping allowed on site at this stage.
  • All persons using this facility do at their own risk. Tauranga Pony Club disclaims any responsibility for any damage or injury to persons, horses or property.
  • Possible Hazards; Rabbit -holes, public using the park for other recreation, ground conditions -wet/long grass/uneven, new jumps with hazard tape attached, wild life - in grass birds/ rabbits, Jumps- under construction
  • Check jumps on landing and take off before jumping them.
  • No Dogs allowed
  • Please take your blue hay string home


There will be an $100 fine if any of these conditions are not adhered to.
