Welcome to Tawa Bowling Club a vibrant and progressive club located in Wellington city’s northern most suburb.

The club was established in 1960, celebrating its 50th anniversary in October 2010. We feature two greens - one ‘natural’ and one synthetic, a spacious clubhouse and convenient parking. 

We host both competitive and casual bowls year round, catering to all bowlers from the nervous new-comer, to the competitive champion. 

Our qualified and friendly coaching staff are on hand to welcome and offer encouragement to bowlers at every level, especially those who maybe coming to the  game for the first time.
