OUR VOLUNTEER MAXIMUS

Nominee – Trent Wrathall, Auckland Rugby League Volunteer of the year 2016.

Trent is holding the Phelan Shield.  Premier’s first trophy of the year for being Minor Premiers in the Sharman Cup.  The Premiers went on to win the Sharman cup and with it promotion to the Fox Memorial.

Many local heroes go unnoticed and should be recognised for their outstanding contributions to the community.  Te Atatu RLFC nominated Trent for the following reasons.  He has been part of the Roosters as the Tee boy for up to 20 years.  He demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment.  Although he has disabilities, he has been a role model for other people with disabilities being destigmatised.  He is a very proud part of the Roosters and is always keen to assist wherever he can.  He is a well-respected member of the club and community.
