Registration Musters this year are happening on:
Sunday 10 March - 3.30pm - 6.00pm MAIN MUSTER DAY
WEDNESDAY 13 March - 5.30pm - 7pm - For those who can't make Sunday
Sunday is our main muster day - it is preferred that you come on Sunday rather than Wednesday - if you can.
Those playing Rippa this year, need to be turning 5 BEFORE 1 May 2024. You do not need to come to weigh in. But please make sure you upload a photo with your registration form.
Remember to COMPLETE A NEW REGISTRATION FORM FOR ALL CHILDREN WHO WANT TO PLAY BEFORE COMING TO THE MUSTER NIGHT.
ONLINE payments are being accepted again this year. We will have EFTPOS available on the night.
Junior Rugby Grades
All children (boys and girls) are graded into teams based on their age.
U6-U7: 10 aside rippa rugby with rugby boots or sport shoes played on half field
U8-U10: 10 aside tackle rugby with boots played on half field
U11: Full tackle, 3/4 field, 12 aside rugby, non-competition. The reasoning behind the change in this grade can be found here
U12-U13: Competition grades - Full tackle, full field and 15 aside rugby.
Playing Times and Locations
U6-U7: Teams play on Saturday mornings from 8.30am to 12.00pm (times to be confirmed) at Arataki, on a half field.
U8-U10: Games are played at Blake Park from 8.30am to 12.00pm throughout the season.
U11-13: Games are played at the Domain or away throughout the season.
Please refrain from contacting the committee and requesting teams or friends that you wish your child to play with. The committee, when putting teams together, try to ensure continuity from year to year for existing players and for new children to the club, putting them with someone from the same school. Please appreciate putting over 20 teams together is a massive exercise and we do our best to ensure this is done as fair as possible.
