Allegra and Jack Selected for 2025 New Zealand Alpine Youth Squad

We’re thrilled to celebrate an outstanding achievement from two of our Takapuna Grammar School athletes, Allegra Smith and Jack Craddock, who have both been selected for the 2025 New Zealand Alpine Youth Squad.

In their selection letter, Snow Sports New Zealand stated:

“We are pleased to offer you a place on the 2025 New Zealand Alpine Youth Squad. The Selectors were impressed with how well our athletes skied this season.”

This recognition reflects the incredible hard work, discipline, and passion both athletes have shown throughout their training and competitions.

In addition to their squad selection, Allegra and Jack have been invited to take part in the FIS Children (Youth) International Alpine Competitions during the 2025/26 Northern Hemisphere season — a prestigious opportunity to compete against some of the best young skiers from around the world.

Congratulations to Allegra and Jack on this amazing achievement - a testament to their dedication, perseverance, and love for the sport. We can’t wait to see what’s next on their alpine journey! ⛷️
