Touch New Zealand is proud to announce our coaching appointments for the upcoming 2026 Asia Pacific Seniors Touch Cup, to be held in Japan this October.

This prestigious event will bring together some of the best Masters touch talent from across the Asia Pacific region, and we are excited about the opportunity to once again showcase the strength, experience, and passion of New Zealand Touch on the international stage.

Following an extensive and highly competitive selection process, we are pleased to confirm that a group of outstanding coaches has been appointed to lead our Masters teams.

Each of these individuals demonstrated exceptional capability, leadership, and alignment with our values throughout the review process. We are confident they are the best candidates to guide our teams and proudly represent Aotearoa in October.

The initial appointment term is through to the end of 2026. 

Participation in the Asia Pacific Masters Cup reflects our ongoing commitment to providing meaningful international opportunities for our Masters touch community. The Masters grade continues to thrive in New Zealand, and this campaign represents an important step in strengthening pathways and celebrating lifelong involvement in our sport.

In the coming months, we look forward to sharing further updates, including a glimpse into train & training camps and preparation milestones as we build towards October.
