Tukapa Netball Club was founded in 1980 and is one of the largest netball clubs in New Plymouth.

The club has many teams; Premier 2, Premier 3 as well as competitive and social Saturday teams in the New Plymouth competition giving a total of over 100 club members. ​​​​​​​
