Students need to register online at sporty to be considered for teams. This process saves a considerable amount of time for our Administrators and is a requirement of Rugby Southland and allows our Sport Coordinator to give Coaches and Managers correct name and contact details to Coaches, Managers and Teachers in charge, thus making more time available to them to run trials and actually coach!

Costs:

• Girls –  $90.00 Costs include, jersey hire, washing, first aid, gear and equipment, and Rugby Southland entry fees 

• U14, U16  - $115 Costs include, jersey hire, washing, first aid, gear and equipment, and Rugby Southland entry fees

• First XV - $130.00 Costs include, jersey hire, washing, first aid, gear and equipment, and Rugby Southland entry fees

We have some excellent Rugby Coaches at Verdon and are always interested to hear from anyone who is interested in either coaching or managing our teams 

Players are expected to have black shorts and these and socks are issued at the start of the season at the players’ expense. These can be purchased from the gym. Rugby Jerseys are given out at the games and collected in after games and are washed here at school.
