College Sport Wellington, in collaboration with Victory Up and Riot Games, are proud to bring you the Wellington Secondary School League (WSSL) - the very first esports Secondary School League in the region, launching with League of Legends.

The plan is to introduce the competition with a four-week pilot competition in term 2.  In term 3 will look to amp things up, with the possibility of having live venues similar to what you see on TV.  So grab your school mates and get involved.

Term 2 & 3

Training:  During Lunch Time in the Computer Lab.

Playing Location

Game days will be Wednesdays at 4pm, starting from Wednesday 20th May.  While it is expected that students play together at school, this might not be appropriate in the current COVID 19 climate.  We have provided some recommendations about playing in different lockdown scenarios in the competition information, however, we understand we will need to flexible around this.

Pilot Trial - For the pilot, there will be two mixed-gender divisions, Senior Open (Year 11-13) and Junior open (Year 9-10).

Registration Fees:  During the Pilot Trial - Free
