Whangarei Adventist Christian School

Whangarei Adventist Christian School (WACS) is an integrated co-educational full primary school catering for years 0-8.

WACS is owned and operated by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. The special character (the beliefs of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church) centres around the delivery of quality learning experiences.

The school boasts a large playing field, adventure playground, three classrooms, full sized multi-purpose court, and student gardens.

The students use community facilities for the fulfilment of curriculum activities and Manaia View School for technology. The students present church services for the Adventist churches and are involved in cross country and class outings.

The school has a diverse mix of cultures represented and families attend a range of different denominations and churches. We draw from the wider Whangarei community due to our special character.

Our school provides a unique learning environment where tuakana/teina relationships are nurtured as we learn together. We provide a safe, inclusive environment for our students and cover all curriculum areas of learning.
