WAIKATO DIOCESAN SCHOOL FOR GIRLS

Are you a passionate and experienced sports coach ready to inspire the next generation of female athletes?

Waikato Diocesan School for Girls is seeking highly qualified coaches to lead our Premier Netball, 1st XI Football, and 1st XI Hockey team. We are also on the lookout for a Volleyball coach for our Senior A team.

The ideal candidates will have a philosophy around coaching secondary school girls which balances a performance based programme in pursuit of excellence with the interests of the girls at heart. We want coaches who have the ability to engage the girls and build rapport and trust recognising their academic demands and holistic development. Our coaches will embody our school values and contribute to our sporting mission of developing well-rounded young women who are confident, resilient, and committed to their sport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs that align with our school's sporting philosophy and values.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and fair play.
  • Identify and nurture talented athletes through a robust pathway program.
  • Prepare athletes for competition at various levels, from local to national.
  • Promote the school's sporting culture and encourage participation in a range of sports.

Required Qualifications:

  • Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g, NZC Level 2 or higher).
  • Proven experience coaching at secondary school level or higher.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for developing young athletes.
  • A commitment to our school's values and mission.
  • Police Vetting will be required and carried out by the school.

HAMILTON WANDERERS

Women’s Head Coaching Roles

Expressions of Interest are invited for the NRFL Championship and WaiBOP W-League head coach roles for our club heading into the 2025 season.

The successful candidates will lead teams in the NRFL Women’s Championship working towards the goal of securing promotion to the NRFL Women’s Premiership, and our Development Women’s team who will be competing in the WaiBOP W-League. 

The positions will play a key role in the continued growth of women's football within our club and will also work closely with our Head of Women’s Football Development to continue to grow our girls academy programme. 

Hamilton Wanderers has a strong history in our Women’s programme with:

  • multiple Napier U19 and Western Springs U17 tournament victories
  • Previous National Women’s League qualification 
  • Kate Sheppard Cup finalists

This is a paid coaching role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach the Women’s First team with a focus on gaining promotion to the NRFL Premiership.
  • Work closely together to foster a smooth player transition from the W-League into NRFL football.
  • Champion the growth of women’s football across the club and our community.

Candidates will require the following:

  • NZF/OFC  C Licence and a desire to work towards an NZF/OFC B license (NRFL Womens Championship).
  • NZF Senior Level 1 and a desire to gain a NZF/OFC C License (WaiBOP W League Federation role).
  • A willingness to immerse themselves fully at Hamilton Wanderers and become a valued member across our club.

ACG TAURANGA

1st XI Football Coach

ACG Tauranga is a forward-thinking school committed to both academic and sporting excellence. We are seeking an experienced and passionate coach to lead our 1st XI football team.
 
This is a paid position for qualified coaches. In addition, for the right candidate, there is an opportunity to expand the role to include Head of Code for Football, overseeing the development of the football programme across all year levels. Position descriptions for both roles are available upon request.
 
Futsal Coaches – Senior HS, Junior HS, and Under 13

We are also looking for experienced Futsal coaches for Term 1, 2025. These are paid positions for qualified coaches. For the right person, there is an opportunity to combine Futsal coaching with the Football role(s) mentioned above, creating a year-round employment opportunity.

This is your chance to join a dynamic club, with a strong commitment to developing local talent and fostering a competitive team environment. You'll have the support of our Director of Football and clubs committee, and a club backing you all the way 24/7.

If you've got proven coaching experience, an NZF C licence (minimum) and strong communication and leadership skills - we want to hear from you!
