NORTHERN UNITED 

CALLING ALL FOOTBALL PLAYING GIRLS (14+)

Join us and special guest for our Girls and Womens month celebration where we will be launching our 2 new initiatives for female footballers:

  1. Football training Academy – open to all female players aged 14-18 and even if you are currently with another club or school in Hamilton. This is a specialised training only academy with elite coaches Che Bunce, Derek Tieku and guest coaches TBC.
  2. Club team playing in the secondary schools 1st XI competition – open to female players 15-18 years of age who are not currently at a school (i.e. homeschooled) or your school does not have a 1st XI offering.

HAMILTON GIRLS' HIGH SCHOOL

1st XI Head Coach

Hamilton Girls’ High School has shaped and influenced young women since 1911. Our vision is to be acknowledged as a leading contemporary, New Zealand school specialising in girls’ education. Through a focus on learning, research and innovation we will be recognised by our own community, the national and international community.

We are currently looking for a Head Coach for our football team. The Head Football Coach will be responsible for organising and running the day to day training of the Hamilton Girls’ High Premier Football team aligning with Hamilton Girls’ High School values and vision. They will support the team in achieving their potential on and off the field. 

About the role:

  • Coordinate and manage football trials and player selection.
  • Write and oversee training programmes.
  • Establish and positively maintain team culture/spirit. 
  • Collaborating with the parent committee to ensure effective management of core operations, including logistics, fleet maintenance, fundraising, and financial management.
  • Administration tasks associated with the running of the football programme.

About the person:

  • Significant and proven football experience.
  • High level of technical coaching knowledge and expertise.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate appropriately with all stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
  • High level of planning and organisation abilities.

NORTHERN UNITED

Northern United Football Club seeks a Senior Men's Reserve Team Coach.

Northern United Football Club is one of the largest clubs in the Waikato, located in Hamilton. We are seeking a coach to take our Reserve Team in the Waikato Division 1. This team will support the Men’s Premier team who compete in WaiBOP League One.

The position would include:

  • Development of players (primarily youth/U23).
  • 2x Trainings a week.
  • Working alongside our experienced Director of Football & Men’s Premier Team Coach.

AQUINAS COLLEGE

Aquinas College is looking for a coach for a Y9-11 boys team (14 to 15 yr olds). The time commitment would, ideally, be one session a week at Aquinas College, either morning or after school, and would be in a paid capacity. 

A premier/uni student player would be ideal. There is no obligation to attend games, but it would be great if the coach could pop down sometimes to see the boys play. There is lots of manager support.
