Waihi Touch Association - Rebuilding our Touch Community

Kia ora Touch Athletes and Whaanau,

The Waihi Touch module has been around for many years up until covid showed up on our doorstep as well as nobody to fullfil the volunteer roles to keep our module going, this resulted in no touch for a couple of years. Well we are back and after 2 years of rebuilding we are now at a capacity where we  can run a successfull competition for our members. Our aim is to provide an opportunity that allows inclusion. We provide opportunity for all who look to come together and share their love for the game. We believe the success of our association comes from continuing our connectedness within our community. From social to competitive athletes, Touch is a sport that welcomes all who wish to experience the joy of teamwork and competition.

We currently offer Social Mixed, Competitive Mixed, Intermediate and Year 5&6. This season we plan to incorporate Year 3&4 grade into our module.

A canteen will be operating during our season and will operate from 3:30pm - 5:30pm, menu will be advised once established. 

We cannot wait for the 2026 season to kick off.​​​​​​
