The Waikato Dragon Boating and Waka Ama Association originally established as both a Dragonboat and Waka Ama Association in 2000.

The association is a Regional Sports Organisation or RSO for the NZ Dragon Boating Association for the Waikato / Taranaki area. 

We are also an affliated member of Te Puku O Te Ika our Regional Waka Ama body.

Our purpose:

To support Clubs and their members to be actively involved in both Dragon Boating and Waka Ama at both a social and competitive level.
