Waimauku Adult Ride (WAR)
We are a bunch of over 21s who combine our love of horses with social activities, shared lessons and low key competitions on Wednesday mornings. From 01 October 2023 we wil be based at Woodhill Sands.
Our annual fee for this season will be $200. We will also have the option of a "social" membership for those riders unable to attend weekday lessons but who would still like to be involved with the social side of the club. The fee for this will be $50. If you wish to start coming to lessons then you will need to upgrade to a full membership. Our season starts on the 1st October and runs all year including through winter. Membership numbers are capped to ensure that lessons do not become over subscribed.
Weekly lessons must be pre-booked and cost $30-35 depending on whether there are 3 or 4 in your group. We try where practical to group similar level riders together. Lessons must be paid online prior to Wednesday.
COMPETITIONS Throughout the year we run low-key competitions, each of which provides an opportunity to have a go at a discipline in a relaxed, supportive and above all, FUN environment. Points from these days go towards trophies which are awarded at our AGM
