Waimea College


 

Waimea College is a co-educational school which was founded in 1957. The school's motto is "Semper Contendite" which translates to "Always Strive".

Waimea College offers a large range of sports for all students to participate in, from the traditional summer and winter sports of Beach Volleyball, Cricket, Softball, Touch, Volleyball, Basketball, Football, Hockey, Netball and Rugby. We also offer the following sports in conjunction with Sport Tasman as one off regional events and there is also the opportunity in some of these sports to compete at a South Island Secondary School and New Zealand Secondary School level, 7's Rugby, Adventure Racing, Athletics, Badminton, Bowls, Cross Country, Croquet, Duathlon, Equestrian, Golf, Indoor Climbing, Ki o Rahi, Moto X, Mountian Biking, Road Cycling, Sailing, Skiing, Snowboarding, Squash, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Triathlon.
